A 2013 Chamber Music America ASCAP Award Winner for Adventurous Programming, the Radius Ensemble performs music from the classical period to contemporary works, branching out from masterpieces to undiscovered gems. A chamber ensemble of winds, strings, and piano, these outstanding musicians are committed to reinvigorating classical music for a new generation.
This unique bird-themed concert, created especially in honor of the Cape Ann Bird Watching Weekend, includes both classical and contemporary works that explore birds, both their distinctive songs and their emotional resonance in natural and artistic landscapes.
